Computer science research is often published only in conferences which are not covered by commercial citation databases such as Thomson ISI Web of Science or Elsevier Scopus. Citation data from sources such as Microsoft Libra and Google Scholar, on the other hand, cover both journal and conference papers and can be used for a more comprehensive citation analysis, especially for computer science.
