Informationsintegration in Service-Architekturen (GI-Workshop)

Der Workshop adressiert aktuelle Entwicklungen zur effektiven und effizienten Integration von heterogenen Informationen unterschiedlicher Herkunft. Die Lösung solcher Integrationsprobleme ist für zahllose Anwendungen insbesondere in Unternehmen und in der Wissenschaft von entscheidender Bedeutung. Die Nutzung moderner servicebasierter Software-Architekturen innerhalb von Unternehmen oder im Rahmen von Cloud-Infrastrukturen verspricht einerseits Erleichterungen bezüglich der Interoperabilität, führt andererseits aber zu neuen Herausforderungen, u.a. bezüglich Effizienz, semantischer Korrektheit und Informationsqualität sowie Sicherheit.

Der Workshop wird in Zusammenarbeit mit dem GI-Arbeitskreis “Web und Datenbanken” organisiert.

9:00 – 10:30 Uhr Einführungssitzung

• Begrüßung

• Keynote: Information integration with Warp 10, Dr. Gregor Hackenbroich (Director, SAP Research Dresden)
  Abstract: Warp 10 is a novel approach to B2B-integration combining concepts from semantic data modeling, Natural Language Processing and Schema Matching to define a consolidated data model termed canonical model. The canonical model is built up semi-automatically and grows in size and complexity upon matching with schemas provided by a business community. The business context of a matching task allows for an efficient filtering of the relevant information contained in the canonical model. The talk outlines the main concepts of Warp 10 focusing on the challenges for efficient schema matching. A research prototype will be presented that allows us to evaluate the growth and quality of the canonical model respectively the B2B-mappings derived from it. It will be shown how collaboration tools such as SAP Streamwork help to quickly consolidate ambiguous or incorrect mappings, thus providing immediate business value.

Die Beiträge sollen gemäß den Autorenrichtlinien der GI-Reihe “Lecture Notes in Informatics” (LNI) formatiert sein.
