Prof. Erhard Rahm and his collaborators Phil Bernstein and Jayant Madhavan received the VLDB 2011 10-Year Best Paper Award for their VLDB 2001 paper “Generic Schema Matching with Cupid” that has had significant industrial and academic impact on the important field of data integration. The winners received the prestigious award and provided a keynote on Sep. 1 at the VLDB 2011 conference in Seattle.
